Submissions are now open for short and feature films.
Who can enter?
Submissions are open to filmmakers across Aotearoa New Zealand.
We prioritise films with a clear connection to:
the Waikato, and
Central North Island (Bay of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū)
A small number of films from outside these regions will be selected, provided a representative can attend.
Submissions are welcome from:
Emerging and first-time filmmakers
Independent creators working outside traditional systems
Established filmmakers with new work
Diverse voices across all backgrounds, genres, and perspectives
If you’ve made something original, this is the place to submit it.
