We are a creative region. And the screen sector strengthens our region. MistyFlicks is an opportunity as a filmmaker to screen your short content, or as an audience to watch local short content with the feel of the cinema experience. Enjoy a night out at your local cinema to see a piece of Waikato.
Why do we do it?
Many local filmmakers have international success with their films, but locals miss out. We want to give our filmmakers a local platform to screen their work.
History
MistyFlicks Short Film Showcase started in 2018, and each year it’s our aim to bring the show to another venue within the region.
